After enduring 15 rounds of failed job interviews, the player character is unexpectedly reassigned as a junior interviewer at the largest company in Aeropolis City, tasked with screening other applicants' resumes and issuing thank-you letters on the company's behalf. As the player advances through the corporate hierarchy, encountering a wide range of applicants and an increasingly absurd set of shifting hiring policies, they gradually uncover the company's dark secrets — and the true nature of the city itself forcing choices between siding with capital and its rules, or giving workers a chance, all while trying to keep their own precarious life from falling apart.

Gameplay centers on a document-verification loop reminiscent of Papers, Please: each candidate presents documents like internship certificates, Psychological Evaluation Reports, and graduation certificates, which must be checked against that day's specific, often-changing hiring requirements before deciding to approve or eliminate them. Outside interview hours, players manage a bleak personal life paying bills, buying necessities, and monitoring their own mental state with the cumulative weight of both work and personal decisions shaping which of the game's multiple endings is ultimately reached. The post-launch Piecework Mode offers a faster 10-candidates-per-day structure for subsequent playthroughs.

Launch it to begin your story as a newly hired junior interviewer. Review each applicant's documents carefully against that day's specific hiring requirements before making a decision. Decide whether to approve or eliminate each candidate, keeping in mind that these choices shape the broader story. After your shift, manage your own apartment life pay bills, shop for necessities, and monitor your mental state. Continue through the story to reach one of its multiple possible endings based on your accumulated choices. Once you've reached an ending, try Piecework Mode on a new playthrough for a faster, higher-difficulty pace.
