Download MMORPG Tycoon 2 0.29.7 for Mac Story
MMORPG Tycoon 2 has no traditional story with a protagonist or set story line – you write the “story” as you are the one creating the world, the classes, the monsters and the quest chains that make up the fiction of the game. The whole premise is a deliberately self-aware framing device that runs through it: you build an MMORPG, fill it with AI subscribers, and then have to manage that world exactly the way a real MMORPG developer or publisher would – balancing content, keeping players entertained, even catching subscribers that exploit bugs or cheats in systems you yourself designed. Any narrative that exists in the game comes from the specific choices a player makes – the lore behind their custom monsters, the themes of their quest chains, the tone of their world’s towns and cities – meaning the story of MMORPG Tycoon 2 is less something the game tells the player and more something the player constructs through the act of world-building itself. The tone is throughout light-heartedly comedic and self-referential, with sarcastic jabs at real MMORPG live-ops problems (subscriber retention, cheaters, balance patches) by making the player solve them in their own simulated world.
