Wavesurfer is a modular multi-effects processor plugin from Karanyi Sounds, a Plugin Alliance brand, released via Brainworx’s development and distribution network. Rather than a fixed effect chain, Wavesurfer provides users with seven interchangeable creative modules and four master effects that can be dragged, dropped, and freely rearranged designed for all manner of subtle mixing tasks to the creation of entirely new soundscapes. What makes Wavesurfer unique is the utilization of Karanyi Neural AI, a real-time audio analysis engine that dynamically reacts to the incoming signal to shape effects. It is this neural processing that drives the plug-in’s Neural Reverb module, which automatically adjusts the ambience and shape to the source material, and Neural Amp modeling, which is trained on detailed captures of classic and modern analog tape machines and guitar amplifiers. Wavesurfer 1.0.0 released December 17, 2024. This is the first release of Wavesurfer. The plugin is available in VST3 and AAX formats for Windows (with distribution also confirmed for macOS).

AI-Powered Neural Reverb The Neural Reverb module adapts to the incoming signal in real time, automatically shaping ambience and space to suit the source material, rather than relying on fixed, manually-tuned reverb algorithms. Neural Amplifier Modeling The Amp section was created by training the Karanyi Neural AI on detailed models of classic and modern analog hardware, giving tape machine and guitar amplifier character with a high degree of accuracy. Tempo Synced Filter Pulse The Filter Pulse module includes a 16-step sequencer that can be tempo-synced, allowing rhythmic, evolving filter movement locked to your project's tempo. Full Stereo Shaping Toolkit The Stereo Imager lets you control stereo width, moving from subtle widening suited to keys and pads to much wider, more dramatic stereo effects, complemented by the Stereo WOW/Chorus module for pitch-modulated stereo motion. Drag & Drop Modular Interface Modules can be freely rearranged within the signal chain, making it fast to experiment with different effect orders and combinations without rebuilding a chain from scratch in a separate host plugin. Step 1: Installing Wavesurfer Download and install Wavesurfer using the Plugin Alliance Installation Manager for your operating system (Windows or macOS). Step 2 Loading Wavesurfer on a Track Insert Wavesurfer as an effect on an individual track, bus, or master channel in your DAW, depending on how you plan to use it. 3.
