The plugin faithfully reproduces the DAC circuits, low-pass filter topologies and signal characteristics of 17 legendary samplers including the Akai S950, the SP-1200, the MPC60, the Emax and the Casio SK-1. EM-900 is not just a bit reducer. It emulates the full internal signal path filtering, bit-depth limitations and pitch-related artifacts of each machine, for results far beyond a generic lo-fi effect.
