MiniMeters is a standalone audio metering application and plug-in suite for Windows, macOS and Linux, for music producers, sound engineers and anyone who needs a clear and real-time visual read on audio signals. In the standalone app MiniMeters can monitor any stereo input or output directly, or for more accurate, in-context metering use the included MiniMeters Server plugin (VST3/AU/CLAP) to send audio directly from a DAW's master channel into the app. The application is built on seven different modules : Oscilloscope, Spectrogram, Spectrum, Loudness, Stereometer, VU and Waveform, each of them providing a different way of visualizing audio. Modules can be displayed in a compact horizontal bar (great for docking above or below a DAW window), popped out into a fully custom multi-window layout, or displayed using the newer Quad Layout for a simple, all-in-one view. MiniMeters 1.0.30.358 is currently being updated. Recent updates include bug fixes, changes to the target curve, LRmax metering and a fix for compatibility with macOS Tahoe. There is no need for copy protection on this app, it installs and runs immediately after download.

7 Metering Modules MiniMeters includes Oscilloscope, Spectrogram, Spectrum, Loudness, Stereometer, VU and Waveform modules, each providing a different view of the incoming audio signal. Style and Channel Options VU Meter The VU module features two visual styles, selectable channel routing (Left, Right, Mid, or Side), input calibration and a peak indicator that lights up when the signal exceeds a defined threshold. Lissajous Display of an Advanced Stereometer The Stereometer features a Lissajous display which is visible in three color modes: Static, RGB (colored by frequency balance) and Multi-Band (combining individual views of the low, mid and high frequency bands. Metering of correlation In Single-Band mode a dedicated correlation meter shows the overall phase correlation and in Multi-Band mode the phase correlation breakdown of Low, Mid and High bands separately. Loudness display, flexible The Loudness module shows immediate peak value alongside LUFS or RMS readings, with selectable windows LUFS Momentary (0.4s), LUFS Short-Term (3.0s), RMS Fast (0.3s), and RMS Slow (1.0s). Oscilloscopes in real time The Oscilloscope module is provided for the most immediate view of incoming audio. There is a Follow Pitch option to follow zero-crossings to help stabilize the display for pitched material. DAW Integration via Plugin The included MiniMetersServer plugin (VST3/AU/CLAP) can be inserted at the end of a DAW's master channel, streaming audio directly from the session into the standalone MiniMeters app for metering alongside your DAW window. 100% Custom Layouts Position modules in a horizontal bar, pop individual modules into separate floating windows or use the Quad Layout for a compact all-in-one display – whatever best suits your monitor setup and workflow. Step 1: Download and install MiniMeters . Download MiniMeters for your OS (Windows, MacOS or Linux) from the macospace.com. Step 2: Download & Execute Run the Installer (no copy protection) and run the MiniMeters stand alone application. Step 3: Select Your Audio Source You can monitor the default audio input/output of your system directly, or you can monitor audio routed from a DAW session using the included MiniMetersServer plugin. Step 4: Installing the DAW Plugin (Optional) If using DAW integration, insert the MiniMetersServer plugin (VST3, AU, or CLAP) at the end of your master channel so its output streams into the standalone MiniMeters app. Step 5: Select Your Modules Select from 7 modules depending on what you need to monitor: Oscilloscope, Spectrogram, Spectrum, Loudness, Stereometer, VU and Waveform. Step 6: Organize Your Layout Choose between a compact horizontal bar (useful for docking near your DAW window), individual pop-out windows for a fully custom layout, or the simpler Quad Layout view. 7. Configuring Single Modules Adjust settings per module — for example, choose VU style and channel routing, or set the Loudness module's measurement window (LUFS Momentary, LUFS Short-Term, RMS Fast, or RMS Slow).
