It combines automatic pitch correction with manual editing tools, aiming to improve vocal performances while ensuring the corrected result sounds natural and not noticeably processed. The plugin uses AI-assisted note detection for accurate pitch detection, automatic vocal correction, and a built-in harmoniser for creating additional vocal harmony parts within the same tool. Individual notes are then pitch corrected accurately in real time. Combined with the automated correction pass, this provides engineers with fine grained control. Bulldog Tuned allows you to edit multitrack vocals, supporting the editing of up to 16 vocal tracks together, plus playback – a very useful feature for comping layered vocal arrangements or tweaking group vocal takes, as opposed to editing an isolated single track.
