Download Sugar Bytes Effectrix Mac 1.4.8 Overview

Effectrix is a multi-effect sequencer plugin for macOS and Windows in VST, VST3, Audio Unit, AAX formats or as a standalone application. Instead of using effects as continuous processing like in traditional multi-effects, Effectrix has a 32-step sequencer with 12 sub-patterns which allows users to trigger specific effects at specific rhythmic positions within a loop or track by painting coloured blocks directly on the sequencer grid. 14 Different Effects with dedicated step sequencers and 2 modulation sequencers for each: Loop, Scratch, Reverse, Stretch (Timestretch), Tonal Delay, Vinyl, Stutter, Crush, Filter (10 filter types), Phaser, Chorus, Delay, Reverb, Motion. Effects can be placed directly, without having to draw automation, as they are applied in discrete time steps rather than continuous automation curves. This means that timing, repetition and variation are all controlled directly on the grid. Effectrix allows for accurate stutters, reverses, delays and modulation. This approach is step-based, which is particularly suited for glitch production, breakbeat manipulation and rhythmic sound design, where effects are used as rhythmic elements rather than just tonal adjustments. Current Version: 1.4.8 (released December 30, 2024) Runs as a Universal 2 Binary on macOS. Effectrix works on macOS 10.9 or later (some sources say 10.12 or later for the current build), and supports MIDI, so you can use it in a studio production environment, as well as live performance and karaoke setups. Serial number is related to copy protection.

Key Features

12 Subpatterns 32-Step Sequencer Paint coloured blocks across a 32-step grid to apply effects at precise tempo-synced rhythmic positions, with 12 sub-patterns for constructing more complex, evolving sequences. 14 Effects of Different Access Loop, Scratch, Reverse, Stretch, Tonal Delay, Vinyl, Stutter, Crush, Filter (10 filter types), Phaser, Chorus, Delay, Reverb, and Motion, each with its own unique flavour of processing. Modulation and Per Effect Step Sequencer There are two modulation sequencers and an individual step sequencer for each of the 14 effects, giving deep, independent rhythmic control over each effect instead of one shared global sequencer. Discrete Timing Control on Grid Effects activate on specific steps, rather than as a continuous modulation, so you can put specific stutters, reverses and delays right on the timing grid without having to draw automation curves by hand. Standalone and plug-in versions Use Effectrix as a standalone application or load as a VST, VST3, Audio Unit or AAX plugin in a compatible DAW, for all kinds of production and performance setups. MIDI Support Full MIDI support makes Effectrix suitable for use in the studio production environment, karaoke setups and live performance situations where external MIDI control is important. Automation MIDI Learn & Swing Map hardware controllers via MIDI Learn, automate the fx lane on/off buttons from a host DAW and add swing timing to sequences. Big preset library Access an extensive library of presets created by professional sound designers and artists, or tweak them or create your own from scratch with the built-in sequencer and effect parameters. 2 Universal Binary 64-Bit Effectrix is a Universal 2 Binary, which means it runs natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, and is compatible with modern production environments.

Step 3: Load an Audio Loop or Track Feed Effectrix with audio: a full track, a loop, or a specific stem you want to add rhythmic processing to. Step 4: Select Your Effects Choose from 14 effects including Loop, Scratch, Reverse, Stutter, Crush, Filter and more to create the rhythmic character you desire. Step 5: Drawing the Step Sequencer Place each effect at exact rhythmic positions in your loop by painting coloured blocks directly onto the 32-step sequencer grid. Step 6: Make Sub-Patterns You have 12 sub patterns available . Use them for variation and evolution over a longer arrangement rather than repeating the same fixed pattern forever . Step 7: Modulation and Swing Use the dedicated modulation sequencers for each effect and add swing timing to give your patterns even more rhythmic character and human feel. Step 8: Assign Controllers (MIDI Learn) MIDI Learn allows you to assign hardware controllers to Effectrix’s parameters for tactile, real-time control during performance or production. Step 9: Save and Experiment with Presets You can save your own custom patterns as presets or browse the library of professionally designed presets for inspiration and quick starting points.
