ClearPlus 2.2 Overview
Key Features
GPU-Accelerated Dehaze Processing Uses GPU acceleration to remove haze and atmospheric distortion from footage in real time within After Effects and Premiere Pro. Advanced Dehaze Mode with Reduced Halos An advanced dehazing mode is specifically designed to minimize the halo artifacts around high-contrast edges that commonly appear with more basic dehazing techniques. Contrast & Histogram Flicker Reduction Dedicated contrast and histogram-based modes help eliminate flickering across frames, a common issue when correcting hazy or underwater footage clip by clip. Details Slider (Added in 2.2) A dedicated Details slider, introduced in version 2.2, gives users direct control over fine detail enhancement as part of the correction process. Underwater & Low-Light Footage Correction Specifically tuned to address the color cast, haze, and reduced contrast typical of underwater and low-light video, beyond what standard color grading tools can easily fix. Sky Enhancement The plugin is also positioned as one of the more capable tools for sky enhancement, improving contrast and clarity in overcast or hazy sky footage. Native Apple M1 Silicon Support (Added in 2.2) Runs natively on Apple Silicon M1 Macs as of version 2.2, in addition to Intel-based systems. Multi-Frame Rendering Support (Added in 2.2) Supports Adobe After Effects' Multi-Frame Rendering feature, allowing faster render times by processing multiple frames simultaneously.
