APU Software Loudness Compressor 5.7.8
NEWThe APU Loudness Compressor is a compressor plug-in that reacts to loudness the way people hear it, measured in LUFS, instead of only to signal peaks. It’s for mixing and mastering engineers who want smoother, more natural level control on vocals, bass and full mixes, and anyone mixing for streaming loudness standards.

APU Software Loudness Compressor 5.7.8 Overview
Key Features
Compression in LUFS: Gain changes follow measured loudness, using Momentary, Short-Term or Integrated LUFS, rather than just peaks. This gives a more natural, transparent result. Other detection types: RMS, Peak and True Peak detection are also available, and channels can be linked or processed separately. Source › Target mode with Learn: You set the loudness range you have and the range you want, or let Learn mode set them from your material. Five dynamics modes: Downward and upward compression, downward and upward expansion, and soft limiting, chosen from a drop-down menu. Detector EQ and alternate weighting: Filters and curves (A-weighting, C-weighting, ITU-R 468, ECMA-418) change which frequencies drive the compressor, for example so bass rumble has less effect. Built-in limiter: A look-ahead limiter with Peak or True Peak detection and an output ceiling, plus a Learn-and-Lock gain correction to hit a loudness target.
