How to Use Picmal 1.9.0

Launch the app and drag files or folders into the window, or use File > Open or Finder's right-click menu to add them. Choose Convert mode to change file format, or Compress mode to shrink a file while keeping its original format. Select a built-in preset (web, social media, archival) or manually adjust codec, bitrate, resolution, and color space settings. Use the App Icons, Vectorize, Remove Background, Slideshow, or Combine Videos tools for their respective specialized tasks. Set default output format rules for a mixed batch, using KEEP to leave specific file types untouched. In the direct-download build, set up watched folders for automatic processing, or use the Raycast extension and picmal-cli for scripted workflows.
