Folder comparison (Kaleidoscope 2) uses an ultra-fast algorithm to find differences in large directory structures. Sorting and filtering are there to focus on what matters, and you can drill into nested folders for more detail. Kaleidoscope integrates directly into the version control systems that developers already use – Git, Subversion, Mercurial, Bazaar and Perforce – as well as applications like Black Pixel’s own Versions and TextMate, making it the natural merge conflict resolver in an existing development workflow. Note: The Mac App Store version of the app is slightly different from the version you download directly from Black Pixel’s website. The sandboxing restrictions imposed on the App Store version prevent some external developer tool integrations available in the direct download.
