iMazing is a full-featured iOS device management software for macOS. You can browse the contents of an iPhone, iPad or iPod as easily as a folder and transfer files to and from the device with ease. Connect via USB or Wi-Fi, select a device from the sidebar and iMazing will automatically detect and load its contents, sorting everything into specific views instead of forcing users to navigate thru Apple’s restrictive sync interface. iMazing 3 was a complete overhaul, a rewrite from the ground up, a new interface, a modern codebase and an experience truly native on both macOS and Windows, designed to support features the previous generation simply couldn’t. Other features include scheduled wireless backups, browsing backups as tho they were regular folders, exporting photos and videos without being limited by iCloud storage limits, archiving iMessage and WhatsApp threads with attachments, and two-way music transfer, which includes support for classic iPod sync that Apple’s own apps no longer support. 3.6.0 had a larger set of additions including column customisation for the Devices and Backups list views, and preference options to hide full-resolution photos/videos or disable thumbnail generation altogether for sensitive tasks. 3.6.1 is a targeted patch fixing a Manage Apps sign-in issue. iMazing is a Universal Binary and requires macOS 10.12 or later and includes a built-in Spyware Analyser with indicators of compromise for known spyware families identified by researchers at Google, iVerify and Lookout.
