PhotoFoundry 1.3.3 Overview

PhotoFoundry is a batch photo-editing app for macOS built around speed and configurability. PhotoFoundry uses very optimised algorithms for image processing, so it remains fast even for large sets of photos. Rather than open images one at a time, you simply open or drag-and-drop your photos and PhotoFoundry does the work of applying your chosen edits to the whole batch. This is the latest release in the 1.3.x series . The 1.3.x series is under continuous development , with version 1.3.2 proceeding this release , and version 1.3.0 proceeding that . PhotoFoundry requires macOS 11.0 or later and runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. The app reads almost all common image formats, and exports to PNG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF and GIF. With around 200 customisable actions for blends, colour correction, and pre-made photo effects, PhotoFoundry positions itself as a full-featured toolbox for anyone who regularly handles large amounts of photos – photographers, content creators, e-commerce merchants and social media managers included.

Key Features

Large Batch Processing You can apply the same edits, filters, effects, resize, watermarks to a whole batch of photos at once, instead of applying the same steps to each photo individually. ~200 Action Parametrizable PhotoFoundry ships with a set of some 200 configurable actions for blends, colour adjustments and ready-to-use photo effects, with fine-grained control over exactly how each edit is applied. Drag-and-Drop Simplicity There’s no complicated project setup to get going, just open or drag-drop your photos into PhotoFoundry and the app does the rest. Side-by-Side Live Previews Preview your changes live as you make them or compare results side-by-side with the original so you always know exactly what the final exported images will look like before you commit. Support for Wide Format PhotoFoundry reads virtually all common image formats and exports to PNG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, and GIF, covering the formats most workflows require. Tools for watermarking Apply watermarks across batches of images automatically, useful for photographers and content creators who need consistent branding or copyright marking across large photo sets. Scaling Up Resizing Resize entire batches of images to consistent dimensions in a single operation, useful for preparing photos for web use, social media, or e-commerce listings. Performance-Optimized Processing Built with highly-optimized image-processing algorithms, PhotoFoundry is designed to keep batch operations fast, even as the number of photos and the complexity of applied effects grows. Exporting Smartly When you're ready to output, a single Export action takes care of it for the whole set, with the format and settings you apply to all the images being processed.

Download PhotoFoundry for Mac OS X Download PhotoFoundry installer from macospace.com for macOS 11.0 or later. Step 2: download and run Drag PhotoFoundry into your Applications folder, and run the app. Step 3: Add Your Photos Open or drag and drop photos into PhotoFoundry for editing. You can import one image at a time, or a whole batch at once. Step 4: Select What You Will Do Browse through the library of almost 200 actions (filters, colour adjustments, blends, effects, etc.) and select the ones you want to apply to your batch. Step 5: Parameter tuning Adjust the parameters for each selected action to determine precisely how strong or subtle the effect should be on your images. Step 6: Optionally Add Resizing or Watermarking If needed, include an action to resize images to make the dimensions consistent, or to watermark all images in a batch for branding or copyright protection. Step 7: Preview Your Results Use live preview or side-by-side comparison to check how your edits look against the original images before finalizing anything. Step 8. Export batch If you’re satisfied with the result, click Export and select the format you want to save in (PNG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF or GIF). PhotoFoundry will automatically process and export the entire batch. Step 9: Save Presets for Future Batches (If Applicable) If you'll be performing the same combination of actions on future photo sets, save your action chain as a preset so you can apply it instantly again next time.
