Wasteland Bites 1.1.1

Wasteland Bites is made by indie developer CosmicDev and published by 2 Left Thumbs. It launched on Steam on April 3, 2026, after a popular free demo. You play a food truck owner traveling across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. At each stop you cook toast, bowls and kebabs for a line of odd customers: raw, cooked, rotten or radioactive, depending on what they want. Some customers aren’t customers at all. Mutants, UFOs, rabid dogs and other horrors show up, and sometimes the right answer is a bullet instead of a meal. Mistakes raise your stress level, and if it maxes out, the run ends. Your goal is to keep the truck moving toward a legendary beach that isn’t irradiated.

Cook under pressure. Fill orders fast and correctly while the line grows, as each customer asks for something different. Spot the threats. Some visitors are dangerous, so you need to know when to serve and when to defend your truck. Stress system. Wrong orders and missed threats build stress, and too much ends your run. Multiple locations. Each stop in the wasteland has its own dangers, monsters and secret areas. Truck upgrades. Improve your food truck as you travel, and manage limited resources to survive day and night. Dark comedy tone. The horror comes with a strange art style and plenty of absurd humor.

Install the Steam app for Mac and sign in. Optional: download the free Wasteland Bites Demo first. Buy the game and click Install. It needs about 1.5 GB. Click Play. Your saves sync through Steam Cloud.
