Blackwell Convergence finds Rosangela Blackwell and Joey Mallone investigating what at first appear to be unrelated events across New York City: a film with a troubled, dark history, an empty but prestigious uptown office, and a web of conflicting motivations among downtown artists and Wall Street investors. As their investigation deepens, Rosa and Joey uncover bizarre connections binding these threads together, and the story pulls back further into the Blackwell family's long history with the supernatural, raising the stakes for the series as a whole.

Players guide Rosa and Joey through classic point-and-click adventure mechanics, examining environments, collecting and combining items, and engaging in dialogue with a cast of New York City characters to piece together the mystery. Joey's spirit-guide abilities let him interact with the world differently than Rosa, adding a layer of puzzle variety as players switch between the two characters to progress.
