Myary 2.7.1 Overview

Myary is a diary and text-journaling app for macOS from Xelaton Software, for writing diaries, project documentation, blog drafts, chronicles or any text that needs to be stored chronologically. Instead of saving your entries into a closed, proprietary database, Myary stores each entry as a single plain text file, in a folder structure you specify. This means your writing is fully portable and readable in virtually any text editor. Version 2.7.1 refines the app’s Distraction-Free Mode. The Distraction-Free Mode settings interface has been redesigned and two bugs have been fixed: one with the quotation-mark setting (which didn’t apply immediately before) and one with the dimming behaviour, which stopped reactivating correctly while typing after a recent update. Myary requires macOS 10.13 or later, and is a Universal Binary for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. It is available for download from the Mac App Store , or directly from Xelaton Software .

How to Use Myary 2.7.1

1.Download Myary on Mac Myary download from macospace.com. Step 2: Download & run If you are using the direct download, drag Myary to your Applications folder, and open it. Step 3: Select Where Entries Are Stored The first time you use it you need to select the folder where Myary will store your diary entries. Entries are saved as plain text files so this site puts the control totally in your hands. Step 4: Build Your First Notebook Create your first journal or notebook. If you would like to keep personal journaling separate from project documentation, create a second notebook now or later. Step 5. Make your First Entry Create a new post . Type . Choose your preferred markup language (Markdown, Textile, HTML, etc.) if you want formatted text with live preview. 6. Customise the Editor Go to Preferences to adjust font, text size, colors, and margins so the writing environment matches your preference. Step 7: Upload Files (optional) If an entry requires supporting material, simply attach external files to it directly. They will be stored in a linked folder and can be opened from within Myary. Step 8: Turn on Distraction-Free Mode You can also enable Distraction-Free Mode and configure its settings (now redesigned in version 2.7.1) to control dimming behaviour that can help you focus on writing.
